Stanford: Early Decision or Regular?

Okay so Stanford is my TOP TOP TOP choice meaning if I got in I would cry for days out of pure joy. I would love to apply early decision but I am worried my stats would be even more average (or less than).

GPA: 4.34 (4.0 unweighted)
SAT: 2060

*I'm taking the ACT and three subject tests (Math II I got 680 but retaking)

Secretary for 3D Design Club
Secretary for Math Tutoring Club
Christian Youth Theatre (7 years)
Pathmaker Intern (1 year) ( this is a hospital volunteer internship with Palomar Medical Center)
Humanities Tutor (2 years)
Lead Worship on two youth groups (3 years)=piano, guitar, singing
Summer Job working for ESS (with children)
CSF (California Scholarship Federation) (4 years)
Christian Club

9 AP Classes (3 currently taking, scores of 5 on all of the past ones)
-Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, European History, US History, Art History
-English Literature, Statistics, Government (current)

SHOULD I WAIT? I could retake the SAT and try to raise the score...Or should I just go for it? HELLLP!

As Stanford’s REA acceptance rate isn’t very high, only the best of the total applicant pool (academically) has a shot. I think you should definitely apply RD, as many of the REA applicants will have super high test scores and outstandingly strong and cohesive ECs. If you bump up your SAT or get a high ACT score, you should have a solid chance at RD :)

Any bump you would get from applying REA would only be marginal. I think it would be in your best interest to apply RD, so you can have time to rasie your SAT and subject test
scores as well as editing your essays. If you do that, then you’ll probably have much higher chances.
