School's I'd love to attend (I have already applied EA to some):
STANFORD!
Emory University (applied for scholars)
University of Notre Dame
Georgetown University (SFS)
Princeton University - I interviewed 2 profs. for my documentaries
Yale University
Duke University
Boston College
University of Maryland (in-state)
Rice

Thank you so much! I plan on applying for International Relations or Political Science depending on the school and what it offers.

STANFORD! - infamous for it’s erratic admission, but you have the profile for it.
Emory University (applied for scholars) - probably in
University of Notre Dame - in
Georgetown University (SFS) - match
Princeton University - I interviewed 2 profs. for my documentaries - reach
Yale University - reach
Duke University - low reach
Boston College - in
University of Maryland (in-state) - in
Rice - match

Your documentary seems cool though. Try to play that up in your essays, have stellar recs, and you should be in. Good luck! If you could return the favor, I’d appreciate it.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816973-chances-top-schools-will-return-favor.html</a></p>

The one spectacular thing about your app - this documentary thing.

Stanford - low-reach to match (only thing bringing you down are APs and GPA, but your ECs more than make up for that)
Emory - in
Notre Dame - in
Georgetown - match
Princeton - match because of those 2 profs.
Yale - low-reach to match
Duke - in
Boston College - in
University of Maryland - in
Rice - in

Being from NY puts you i a tough pool. Several B’s, good but not great scores–Stanford, Yale and Princeton will be tough. Reasonably good shot at the rest.

Which ones did you EA to? I don’t think it makes too much of a difference in admissions, though - only reason it might seem that it does is because of athlete recruitment. Anyway, the documentary stuff is a definite hook, and your stats are great. I think you have a shot at all of them. Here are the specifics:

Stanford - match/low reach (reach for everyone, blah blah blah)
Emory University - in, probably got the scholars stuff, too
University of Notre Dame - in
Georgetown University (SFS) - in
Princeton University - match/low reach (especially with that interviewing - sweet stuff)
Yale University - low reach
Duke University - match
Boston College - in
University of Maryland (in-state) - in
Rice - in

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/817273-brown-ed-princeton-swarthmore-colgate.html</a></p>

I’d say in at all, actually. I think you’d really like Georgetown SFS, I have a friend there and it’s amazing. Very prestigious for the field.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/782305-emory-rice-usc-duke-princeton-etc-chances.html</a></p>

Thank you very much everyone! And good luck to you too!

Shameless bump. Any more opinions? If it’s any incentive, I do chance back :)

You’ve got massively impressive stats. Not only do you have strong grades but you’ve got a great resume full of service, ecs, awards, and accomplishments.

Standford- Honestly, don’t know too much about their admissions, but you’ve got the stats.
Emory University- In
University of Notre Dame - So In

Princeton University - Mid / High Reach (But it’s like that for everyone just because)
Yale University - Mid / High Reach (see above)
Duke University - High Match
Boston College - Safety / Match
University of Maryland (in-state) - In
Rice - Low match

STANFORD! - reach. but theres still a chance!

your documentary sounds interesting and your stats are great. woot!

my school has had kids go to every Ivy but never had someone accepted into Georgetown so I’d say thats your only reach if any. You seem like a match for all those schools.
