Anyone here going to be applying to the SHSI this summer? If so, I hope this can be a place for us to discuss and interact during the application process!
I‘m applying.
I’m also applying. If anyone has gotten in can they tell me what their profile looked like? Just wondering to see how mine compares.
I submitted my application this week! Suuuper nervous though. I’m hoping to get into Race in the American Imagination
what’s the acceptance rate?
I’m interested in finding out the acceptance rate as well! ^^^ There isn’t much-released information on admissions statistics for the program, unfortunately.
I submitted mine and I’m really nervous because I heard that it is super selective. I’m applying for revolutions
does anyone know how many people are accepted into each class? and what classes did yall apply for?
i think about 20 ppl are accepted in each class. im applying for revolutions.
Is there a major advantage in applying for Early Admissions rather than Regular Admissions?
I guess the advantage is knowing whether or not you get in, earlier. Also idk how fast the classes fill up, but you get priority first
Have any of y’all gotten your admissions decisions?? I got into race in the American imagination I’m so exciteddd
I got in Magical Realism
Hi! I also got in Magical Realism as an international applicant. Meet you this summer
hey! i attended the revolutions course last year and from what ive heard the acc rate is around 20% although revolutions is known to be the hardest to get into
Just curious if students typically fly in alone or if a parent usually flies in with them for arrival
I’m sure a lot of people fly in by themselves just bc of convenience
has anyone else been waitlisted?
Is anyone going for the Rome session this summer? I got into that although my first choice is Evil. Also I’m curious how worthy is it to go to SHI, comparing to the normal Stanford Pre-collegiate program. Thanks!
Also accepted for the Rome session! @jijiji529 it is not my first choice either but I really love classics any way
