Where can I find out if I am in one of Stanford’s interviewing areas? I have looked all over their website but haven’t found anything.
Stanford only stood up their alumni interviewing process a few years ago. I think they’ve done spectacularly and about 20-25% of applicants meet with an alumnus/alumna. Even if you’re in an area with many alumni interviewers, odds still aren’t great you’ll get asked to interview.
You probably can’t find a listing of coverage areas b/c there’s no reason for Stanford to make that info public.
Unless they’ve changed it recently, they don’t interview applicants in California which is around 40% of the applicant pool.

We don’t yet interview in CA, but the office plans on starting to interview in select parts of CA next cycle, and gradually increase to statewide coverage over several years. I don’t believe the information on which specific zip codes offer interviews is publicly available.
