Let me know what you think for Stanford! I chance back!

I think you have a great chance!! That’s amazing that you were an Intel semifinalist that will definitely help a lot. But then again… you never know with Stanford…

Unfortunately, low reach is as good as it gets for Asians applying to Stanford. If you are able to craft a superb application, you certainly have a chance.

AMAZING!!! yes, youre asian but that doesnt take away from your stellar application. Your extracurriculars are golden. Stanford and most ivys look down on the “typical asian” with superb grades and extracurriculars that circle around math and sciencle club. You, however, take it further. You demonstrate how dedicated you are to science and you show youre a well rounded person- you volunteer at a nursing home for christsakes. I think stanford is definitly in your reach, as well as harvard, yale, etc. Please chance me back?:)

dudduss: Intel semifinalist means that I was selected as a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search. It is the self proclaimed oldest and most prestigious science competition for high school seniors. Around 2000 applicants from around the country submit a research paper of about 18-20 pages and 300 are chosen from across the country.
