Stanford maybe??

Ok im only a sophomore but i have been hitting the books like crazy this past year and i should end up with a 4.0 GPA this year. I have bought a book on practicing SAT's but im afraid its one for the old SAT...i will buy one for the new one to study soon. I took the old SAT practice test online the other day
770m 720v..its pretty low but im only a sophomore and that was a pre-test. I live in PA where i could try and go to stanford for the pre-med program or Penn State for their pre-med then get pretty easily into UPMC becuase Penn State offers interns there for pre-med. If i can have these stats when appliying for stanford think id get in.

A new SAT score of about equal to 1520 of the old.
A 3.9-4.0 GPA

One of the best swimmers on my Swim team at school.
In the Mathletes
Science Club
Tutor of Math for freshmen having trouble in Algebra since i have an A+ in College Algebra I help kids for free who are doing poorly.

100+ Hours of community service
Very good Essays, since im a very good writer
Good rec's
And a very rigerous courseload which I've already schedualed.

Please i know its early but i hear people saying i couldnt get in becuase i dont have good enough rec's. I really want to get into Stanford.

if u think its possible to get in then ur probably right how many grades can u get seriously

o and my GPA is uw

ok so a 4.0 Gpa probably a 1520 on the SAT lets see the only u dont have is a life

lmao im serious...i do have a life i dont do anything on sundays and tutor for an hour and a half on saturday..weekdays i just study..but like i said weekends i have plenty of fun at the mall and playing laser tag at a local arcade :P

ur a sophmore who is already practicing for the SAT.....nough said

lmao...well i guess so >.<

im lmao that u keep writing lmao

^ thats harsh dawg
dont worry i think you have just as good a chance as others with your type of stats - what decides admissions once you reach a certain level of gpa and sat score is basically your teahcer recs/essay which you cant worry about much now and your extra currics

build on your extra currics as i know stanford cares more for that stuff than sat score usually

and get some nice hobbies dude

lol ty ivy and my hobbies is as ive said me and about 8 friends go and play Laser tag at a local arcade since its one of those where you pay 15 bucks and play all you like. but i also go to mall and hang out a little bit

lmao i wish this would be competitive for stanford today… :frowning:
