:/ I didn't expect to get into both and right now i'm having the hardest time deciding between both of these excellent schools. i'll be going to both of their admit weekend things and hopefully i'll come up with the verdict after i visit. Do you think that by going to Stanford, less doors will be open for me to pursue business-related things?

Stanford is the 6th best university in the world. I don't think it'll hurt you at all, lol.

For undergrad, go Wharton!

For MBA, it doesnt matter which of the 2.

UncleFeezus, where did you get that figure from?

From the www.thes.co.uk. Definitely subjective and probably wrong, because it ranks UC Berkeley as number two.

Stanford does not have undergrad business. If you definitely wanna do business during college, then the choice should be obvious.

UncleFeezus, Stanford is the second best university in the world:

That's a horrible list. For example, 100 score for Harvard, while the 2nd best (Stanford) gets 77.2? I mean, c'mon.

These rankings are all so subjective... I don't get why people are so paranoid about the ranks

They are just a guide, not an end-all-be-all.

Its a relative scale Gary King. So #1 has to be a 100 as all other rankings are calculated in relation to that.

I know. But if you compare the ratio between #1 and #2, and #2 and #3, and so on, the #1 and #2 will have the largest ratio of them all, by far too.
