STANFORD PRE-COLLEGIATE SUMMER INSTITUTES OR YALE YOUNG GLOBAL SCHOLARS?

I am an international student, I have been admitted to both. To SPCSI with a full scholarship (Legal Studies) to YYGS (PLE) partial - it is not even sure I would be able to attend paying the remaining tuition so then the decision would be made from itself.
I want to hear experiences and opinions on both programs because I can’t make up my mind!!

Thank you

Hello! I attended SPCI Legal Studies last summer (2016) and it was the best 3 weeks of my entire life. I also had a full scholarship for the program. I applied for PLE this year but I was waitlisted and I am waiting for decision on a different course for SPCI. Last year I was a rising sophomore and most of the people in legal studies were that age. I would say YGS is definitely more course intensive but SPCI has more of an adventurous and fun aspect. The bonding is completely indescribable and I made some of my very best friends in that short time. Everyone is very diverse and has something unique about them so the submersion is incredible. As for legal studies, we focused on legal writing, visited appellate court and a prominent law office in Silicon Valley, and the last week we had a mock trial simulation. I would definitely 10/10 recommend. The counselors are amazing, the campus is beautiful, and the weather is gorgeous. Congratulations! Hope that helped and you have a wonderful time no matter which one you pick!
