Stanford Pre-collegiate vs Girls Who Code?

I’m applying for both in case I don’t get accepted into one.

The Stanford Pre-collegiate is really expensive, but it looks more prestigious on an application?

Girls Who Code is a free 7-week summer immersion program at top tech companies, networking options, alumni hiring programs

Money isn’t the issue for me but in the case that I get accepted to both, which would be the better option?

Girls who code. Usually the programs that are free are better than the expensive ones, because the free ones are more selective. And most summer programs at those schools are like camps.

How about Girls who Code internship at a tech company in Silicon Valley VS summer research at a Univ Life Sciences lab? Which one do you think will be good? Student is highly confused.Loves biology but job prospects are more with computer science, hence wants to know which option will be better valued? If the student wants to go to Med School, will the decision to choose Girls who code in a company over Univ Lab Research hurt the application as Med Schools prefer research?
