March 28th is not the revised date, April 1st is still the official date, as it is every year. However Stanford has set a precedent of releasing on March 28th, so that’s when it’s expected.

On the 28th, don’t worry if some of you don’t receive your decision at the same time as the others. I think Stanford sends its decisions in waves – in no specific order – to avoid crashes. At least that was the case last year. My daughter and I could follow on CC that some members received their results, while she had hers about an hour later. Others got theirs after her etc. I re-lived the anxiety/excitement for a second there. Good luck to you all!

I’ve been trying to stay away from CC lately, but with only a week to go there’s no point now. Good luck everyone!

Anyone else here deferred? Did you guys send letters of intent?

Guys, can someone give me some advice? I’ve recently won an prestigious model un award at an international conference at Harvard, and I’ve also started a club that raises awareness about women’s international oppression, and it’s really successful! But I never updated my schools on any of this. Is it too late? Have I missed my chance? Did I severely screw myself? I didn’t even know you COULD update schools on stuff like that :frowning:

Yeah it is WAY too late to make an update. Those sound like cool achievements, but unfortunately you’ll just have to do without the colleges knowing them.

Well I disagree I just sent an update. No guarantees it will be considered, but might as well do everything!

Fair enough, that’s a good attitude to take. But I can guarantee you that they are done looking at applications.

The wait is killing me! It will all be over soon (hopefully)

I’m gonna be so jittery all week…

Do deferred people get letters later than regular decision people? I want to get my email right at 3pm, if I had to wait any longer I think i would probably vomit.

@coolbeans123 Nah, I don’t think they make a distinction; you’ll hear back @ 3, don’t worry.

@lilliana330 hopefully… i’m so nervous!! were you deferred as well? 6 months of waiting is too much to bear.

@coolbeans123 Nope. I did apply as a Questbridge finalist & didn’t match (hopefully due to my EFC), sooo I know what those 6 months feel like /:

@Kigzcorp habari.
Here we meet again. Seems like we applied to similar schools lol :slight_smile:

@547fjekr Kenya’s top cream :smiley: lol hebu niimbox hapa

How is everybody in this week?
I feel that I can see the rejection letter before my eyes… :-S

No strong hooks, no great connections, just stats and good essays. Nervous but not getting hopes up!

I am a parent and cannot find the answer (quickly) to this question: Do admission decisions go out via email to the applicant or do you look it up on a portal? Thank you and good luck to all of you very talented students!
