Stanford Rejection: Chance me for Harvard?

<p>Oh and in response to the whole controversy:</p>

<p>We don’t know the chances of a particular person without specifics.
Someone could’ve been rejected because of an atrocious essay, which would obviously lead to smaller chances at Harvard. But someone could also just not have been a great fit for Stanford, and would fit in better at Harvard. </p>

<p>Thus, one specific person who got rejected could have better chances than one other specific person who got deferred. The wording was just ambiguous the first time and implied larger-scale correlation.</p>
