<p>I love it...and that being said, I'm sorry to ask you to for a chance evaluation? I know you guys have no idea of the admissions office thought process, but if you could compare my stats to yours or others you know just so I can see where I hold up.</p>
<p>I have visited Stanford and absolutely love it...the campus is gorgeous, academic style is just what I'm looking for, I like the residential college system, and the laid-back atmosphere are all perfect. Plus, its proximity to San Francisco and relative proximity to Tahoe are bonuses.</p>
<p>OK, so here goes...</p>
<p>PERSONAL
White Male, rising senior from Southern California, grandmother graduated from Stanford but that probably doesn't mean much
wide range of interests, mainly in math/science so shooting for engineering and possibly architecture (I know Stanford does not have an Archi school per say, but that's OK)
fairly to very competitive school/district, graduating class of 400</p>
<p>ACADEMICS
4.0 u/w GPA, 4.84 w GPA
At least top 4% in my class, based on the UC ELC program...I'd bet I am top 1-2% though (my school doesn't rank)
All honors and AP where applicable (except for Spanish 4 next year, right now I'm in regular but I might go AP...btw any opinions on that?)</p>

SAT: 2250 (780 w, 750 cr, 720 m); retaking in Oct for math
SAT Subject: 800 Math2, 780 Chem, 760 US Hist
APs: 5s on all so far (EHAP, APUSH, English Lang/Comp, Chem; taking Calc BC, Phys C, English Lit, Gov, Econ all AP next year)</p>

Soccer 4 years, varsity senior year (captain and mvp for frosh/soph, but that doesn't really matter)
