[/ul]General Comments:
Chance for: Stanford (1st), UoC(4th), Caltech(5th), MIT(2nd), USC, Northwestern, Cornell, Duke, Notre Dame, Princton(3rd), Harvard

I understand that Stanford is a reach for everyone, and even more so for me with no hooks. I have a few good safeties like UIUC and Purdue

With my stats which option should I go with.
-Stanford SCEA (or maybe Princton SCEA)
-Early Action at UoC, Caltech, MIT, Notre Dame to better spread out my chances
-Early Decision at Cornell, Duke, or Northwestern to ensure a much higher chance of admission

Just looking for some advice

bumpity bumb

Dang, your resume looks pretty similar to mine haha. You’re definitely competitive, but I would say Stanford is a reach for both of us :frowning: but if you want to go there for sure SCEA is the way to go. Good luck!

and chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1555379-chance-me-yale-scea.html

If Stanford is your 1st choice, then you should without a doubt EA to Stanford. Who the **** cares if you don’t get in? You gave it the best you could, and what’s done is done. Make sure to REALLY show your passion in your essays, and always talk about qualities that make you stand out. When writing the roommate essay, many people write about their “quirky” side. Remember, if everyone comes off as quirky, then is anyone actually being it?

EA or ED to whatever your 1st choice is.
And don’t post your stats on CC asking for chances. Most of us are high school students as worried as you, and we really can’t chance for ****. No one can except AdComs.

I have been working on my essays for Stanford so hopefully they turn out good.
I see your point, I’m just worried about wasting early admissions, but Im going to give Stanford my full effort.

What do you guys think about MIT, Northwestern, UoC in RD
