Founding of a program similar to Link Crew at my school called Outreach, slight modifications added- I can submit the program proposal, outline, etc

In college essay I am stressing Leadership -how CAP helped me become a leader shown in officer positions and founding of the Outreach Program and tie it into my experience flying in the program as a metaphor. as well as my passion for sciencce, all of my jobs have been unpaid research or hospital volunteering as it has given me a view of both research and clinical and confirmed what I want to do with my life.

Safety, Match, Low Reach, Reach, high reach, impossible, etc?

I also can't decide between EA or ED at Dartmouth or Stanford. Is there high enough chance that I can get into both that i should apply EA to Stanford and RD to Dartmouth?

Top 1% at strong school, good scores (thry love 800 CRs) should put you into an ivy under HYP and the equal. You have a shot at Stanford but it depends on things like where you're from and who else from your school/area is applying. Worst case you're Asian from the West coast. Best is you're black from Alaska.

If you're in MD, I can't think of which HS you'd go to unless it was Montgomery Blair. Which other good ones are there in this state?

Edit: Oops, I just looked at the Newsweek top 100 and it looks like there are like 4 good high schools in this state. =P I guess I didn't go to any of them.

Also does ED have that big of an influence on acceptance? I was thinking of applying ED to dartmouth because I dont think I can get in RD and its in my top two with Stanford.

i mean I know the stats indicate higher acceptance, but i just figured that was because of a stronger applicant pool

You have decent test scores and a great transcript. You will have the academic nod of approval. Your ECs are pretty good, you're clearly involved with the starting of the Link Crew. I think you have a good shot at Stanford SCEA. Stanford loves "leaders" and good writers. So far you've shown you're a good "leader". Show you're a great writer and you should expect an acceptance letter in December. Good Luck.

Well it was clear to me that Stanford was a much higher reach than Dartmouth. I dont think i can apply early to Dartmouth because I want to compare financial packages even though i really loved the school when i visited but my question was whether my chances at Dartmouth are significantly different at Dartmouth ED or RD.

Also thanks for the advice on Link Crew-what i Call outreach. I am going to focus my essay on my passion of science and research with my experience in leadership and how i am trying to make it easier for others to reach their passion because i had some what of a bad experience involving that.
