Stanford SCEA or MIT EA???

K....
MIT right now is numero uno by a lot; Im in touch with the running coach and I will submit supplimental piano... And Im not stupid so my chances may not be good but at least wont be 0...

BUT!!!!

Stanford is looking pretty delish too (as in number 2 school). I love the school's atmosphere, and I have met the admission counselor and she looked me in the eyes and told me Stanford wants kids that love to learn (C'est moi...) Anyway.

Here's the point:
At MIT, my chance of getting in EA is low because it is not single choice (16%).
But at Stanford my chance is higher because it is single choice (30%).

Taking into account all the athletic recruits at stanford and all other kinds of info, the final question is:

MIT EA or Stanford SCEA?????
HELP! :)

and also Im a native californian and something like half of Stanford is from CA...

Stanford's SCEA acceptance rate is 17%, not 30%. Anyway, if you really love MIT, you should just do that EA. Go with your first choice. Your chances are roughly equal either way.

Do MIT. It's your number one. Besides, Stanford is one of the hardest schools in the nation to get into early because they recruit legacies and athletes (especially) like crazy.
