Stanford Short Questions

For example, there is a question that asks: Name your favorite books, authors, films, and/or artists. (50 word limit)

Do you answer in this format:
Books: A, B, C
Authors: D, E, F
Films, G, H I

Or just like: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I

and hope for the admissions officer to distinguish them into respectful categories?

BUMP

I think the answer to that is a matter of individual preference, although some people will clue into the phrase “NAME your favorite…” and go for a list in order to maximize the number of individual items.

Yeah I just did a list but I did it in order of the questions asked, and I made the first item in each section something fairly recognizable so they know what section it is. Like for example start off the books section with harry potter, and then when you get to artists put your most well known artist in like Picasso or something so they know the names you are listing are artists.

Hey guys, what is implied by “artists”: movie artists, music artists, or art artists? sorry for being so dumb but I’m an international :)

@ivydreamer99‌ music artist, such as bands, boy/girl groups or single/individual singers.
