I was just admitted to the stanford summer college, is it worth the money? Is the acceptance rate high? Well, no matter what I am attending it.
Is anyone else going?

i’m doing some other university’s summer college. I think from what i’m told that it is helpful but does not guarantee your position in the school. Think it logically; let’s imagine that the admission is easy (which it isn’t). Then you still have to do well in the class. Now the kid with less credentials will obviously struggle if he/she does not prepare well enough and the highly qualified student will have a higher chance of gaining the professor’s admiration and an A. So there you have it, if you do well in the summer college class, then you will have the prized recommendation and also an unforgettable experience. Stanford classes are challenging and you want to go with that mindset and really outdo yourself there. I hope this logical thinking covered your question.

^ the money personally was an issue so i just got partial aid from my university. However, it is better than most activities we do in the summer and think about it: SAT I, SAT II, Aps----they are all the components describing how well you will handle your college curriculum. But by taking a real class (a college one) your surpassing their judgement limits and are literally stepping into the concise spot they want you to be in.

lol sorry for the wordiness though.
