What are my chances at these colleges:
Stanford
UC Berkeley/LA/SD
Cornell

Duke
Johns Hopkins
NYU
McGill
(other suggestions?)

Asian Male, 2nd generation
Potential majors: biology, chemistry, something science-y
Public High School (very well-known for rigor)
California

GPA:
+Unweighted: 3.85 (4 semester B's total)
+Weighted: 4.15
+UC Weight: 4.1
+School does not rank, but will probably end up in top 20%

SAT: 640 CR, 770 M, 740 W = 2150 (retaking in October)

ACT: 36 English, 32 English/Writing composite, 35 Math, 35 Science, 30 CR = 34 Composite

SAT II: 800 Math II, 790 Bio M, 700 Chem, 590 French w/Listening

AP:

Extracurriculars:
+Lab internships at Stanford (10, 11, 12):

Summer Activities:
Mainly studying for the following year's courses, some SAT studying, travel frequently out of country. Took online economics course through U Nebraska's Independent Study High School program last summer to satisfy graduation requirements.

Work Experience:
Mainly through the internships. I do plan on taking up a seasonal job at maybe Border's this winter though to start making my own pocket money.

Honors/Awards
Not too impressive, departmental awards in biology A, chemistry AC, world history, accelerated english II

Recs/Essays
+Recs should be decent; I'm rotating three of them- one from science teacher I've had for 3 years, one from mentor at Stanford in junior year, one from newspaper adviser.
+Essays should also be decent. I do need to get out of my habit of writing completely to the point, though, and get into the habit of more descriptive writing.

Potential Weaknesses and Red Flags
+I dropped French after French 3H
+Got worse grade-wise in BC Calc due to stress (A first sem, B second sem)
+Failed to join Science Olympiad, and I want to go into a science career
+B+ in Physics A, all the way.

Extra tidbits
Both parents graduated from UC Berkeley

bump bump bump

hope your scores in october were higher
good unweighted gpa, weighted could be higher
nice sat2 scores, lab internships should be a plus
top 20% is a bit steep though, work on making your ranking better. also check my chance thread for a reply about your legacy remark.
