Sorry if someone has already asked this (I’m new to this thread), but in the past, has Stanford usually released transfer decisions earlier than the estimated date?
@bananahrr From what I’ve seen in past threads, they are released on the posted date (May 15) at 5:00 p.m., all at once.
That is a long time!
They’re released waaaaaay earlier than that if you look at past years threads…
Like a week sooner that what is listed above
That’s good to know. Thank you!
Thanks guys!
Any veterans applied?
Many…I’m advising several via S2S. You apply with their help @ryancorddavid
@thestandard That’s nice to hear. I’m utilizing S2S also but not transferring until 2020 Fall.
Is Stanford mostly looking for veterans?
@indirectproofs they’re looking for people with interesting life stories. ~25% of the class is usually vets (4-8)
Okay thank you! I didn’t want that question to come across the wrong way. I definitely have an interesting life story as my story was recently published on a news website. This is good info to know. I actually would love to meet some vets if I get accepted.
Can’t wait for decisions.
Is anyone pre-med here?
I’m a Marine Corps veteran and I didn’t apply via S2S. Their acceptance rate is always sooooo low but hopefully I’m interesting enough XD
@sspears1893 What’s your major?
Do people who’re considered get an interview request?
@faexpopuli they do not do interviews for prospective transfer students unfortunately
Does anyone know when they will release decisions? Is it on a rolling basis or all at once.
When do Stanford decisions come out?
2nd week of May generally. 5/6-5/10 range
