@solidblu: awesome shirt! LOL I’ll be UCLA cheering “Go Bruins!”

Waitlisted. ■■■.

@thelongshot: I bow down to you: you managed to get waitlisted. On another note: You’d rock at UCLA!

longshot, that’s amazing. wow! congrats

Rejected

Dueces. Movin on.

Accepted! :)

oh…wait…that email was from Cal.
I guess im rejected. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :(

I got in…

But I’m not sure if I want to transfer anymore

I’m a rising sophomore on scholarship at a top public not in California who will likely receive no aid from Stanford. I’m in the social sciences and while I love my school socially, I don’t feel as challenged academically. I feel like if I would have gotten in as a freshman I would go without hesitation, but now that I’m here I don’t know if I have the heart and I’m hesitant to start over as a transfer student. Any thoughts?

Then stay at your school and don’t go so I can get in off the waitlist. Thank you very much :)

Rejected. Oh well. Off to the East Coast…

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to be notified if you’ve been accepted off the waitlist? It would be nice to start prepping and getting a place near UCLA if I’m to be rejected.

Ahh… more waiting. S h i t baskets.

This is from the waitlist letter:
“If you wish to continue to be considered for admission, you must accept your place on our waitlist by completing the Waitlist Response Form before June 1, 2010. Should you choose not to accept a place on the waitlist, please use the same link to decline your spot so we may consider other applicants. After you accept your place on our waitlist, we will send you an update regarding your status sometime after June 7. We realize that you must respond to offers of admission at other colleges, or commit to your current institution for the next year, and we advise you to make those arrangements. The college to which you commit at this time will understand if you are later offered admission to Stanford from the waitlist.”

Too long :(

Thanks toof… I suppose I’ll start making arrangements. It would just blow to uproot everything mid-July if I’m accepted and waiting blows but we’ll see.
