Stanford vs. Brown

Stanford has been my dream school for many years, and I was lucky enough to get accepted there. I've stayed on campus for a few days in the past and absolutely loved it, so I'm fairly certain that I'll end up going there. However, I was also accepted to Brown. I've never visited Brown and am not very familiar with it though, so I was wondering if anyone here who's familiar with both schools could tell me some advantages Brown may have over Stanford (besides the Open Curriculum, of course) or some differences between the two schools. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm not sure what I'm going to major in, but probably something in humanities or social sciences. I'm especially interested in languages and linguistics (particularly East Asian).

i'm not very knowledgeable about stanford, but i know brown has a strong east asian studies department
http://www.brown.edu/Departments/East_Asian_Studies/ with lots of cool opportunities in china and japan

Brown has a strong East Asian department, true, but I doubt it matches Stanford's. Look at where Stanford is!

I'm in the same boat. I'm leaning 35% Brown, 20% Stanford (the 45% is for a LAC). From what I've gathered, both schools have a laid-back type vibe, although Brown may be more intellectual. I'm still grappling with this one.
