<p>I was just curious about Stanford's science reputation. Some of my friends in high school told me that Stanford was now better than MIT in science and engineering. Is this true? I always thought MIT was the best in science but I guess Stanford with it's huge endowment edged MIT out or something.</p>
<p>nooo. MIT is certainly better in the sciences and engineering. Stanford is close, but no cigar.</p>
<p>Stanford, MIT, and Caltech are the three best colleges for science and engineering. All three are tied for the best in my opinion.</p>
