@Cue7 M&T is hardly just another individualized program, comparable to the ones you mention. Brown PLME is a great program but very restricting. Not many college kids are 100% about med school and those students that are really really top and dead-set on med school usually want their chance to try for the very top med schools like Harvard, Hopkins, Penn, Stanford.
It might be a narrower track but far from narrow. You can easily change to any type of engineering you want and any type of business concentration and still remain at M&T. Also in some ways Stanford is narrower than Penn. Specifically the breadth and depth of business courses offered at Wharton.
Not really misrepresenting, the vast majority of M&T students have at least one other HPSM(Y) offer. I only graduated a few years ago and this was the case when I was at Penn. Keep in mind these programs are small so of course they have negligible effect on the overall cross=admit split between Stanford and Penn, which of course Stanford wins hands down.
I agree that Penn vs Stanford in general is not a big dilemma. But Penn M&T vs Stanford sure is. There is no wrong or clear choice here.
