Which is better

that's just not a very easy to answer question, the way you stated it.

They both suck...

It's all about Princeton! :D

New Haven versus Palo Alto? -- it's not even a contest. Beyond that, with the new quad that's being built at Stanford ($1/2 billion est.) is done in a couple of years, Stanford will unquestionably be the finest university in America.

palo alto is not the most exciting place if thats what you were implying....
if you have the chance to go to either, congratulations, and if you have the choice of both, then wow
better for what?
stanford-better sports
yale-i like it more, but theyre more personal reasons
haha stanford already IS one of the finest in america, along with yale. how is a quad going to irreputably distinguish it from the other top schools??

I applied to both and, if accepted into both, I would choose Yale any day over Stanford. A lot of my reasoning is just intangibles, but I love the campus, the tightknit communities, and everything else.

I live in Palo Alto and spend quite a bit of time over at Stanford. I was visiting a friend and partying in one of the dorms on friday night so if you have any questions about Stanford and the surrounding area feel free to pm me.

This question is debatable. To be honest, I can't answer it. However, if I got into both Yale and Stanford, I would choose Yale. I wouldn't choose Yale because I think that it is better than Stanford academically. I would choose Yale because of geographic location. I live in the mid-atlantic region, and it would be more convenient for me to go to the northeast since I am already on the east coast as opposed to me going all the way to the west coast.
