I just wanted to see whether anybody received confirmation after accepting a spot on Stanford's waitlist.

I did not and it's a little worrying.

I just wanted to see whether anybody received confirmation after accepting a spot on Stanford's waitlist.

I did not and it's a little worrying.

I got an email immediately after I submitted the form online.

^■■■■■. Stanford doesn’t send any confirmation to your email, but just redirects you to the faq page. No worries! :)

No, I truly did. I got an email titled “A Copy of Your Stanford Waitlist Submission.”

It sounds like some people haven’t been getting confirmation, however, so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

I got an email as well.

I got an email too. Though it went right to my spam box and I found it there.

I also found mine in spam

Ditto! This is a neat confirmation; don’t want to get my hopes up though!

I received confirmation.

Now I can sleep at night! :P

@ sakuraino: Now whos the ■■■■■, ■■■■■?

@ aquotidianlife. Chill homie! I’m not ■■■■■■■■. I actually did NOT get an email (which I am somewhat bewildered by), and I was simply trying to be helpful when I gave what information I had to the OP. Anyway, if you want, check my previous posts… you’ll see that I posted on the 31st: “For those of you who accepted the waitlist, did you receive any kind of confirmation (whether by email, etc.)?” because I did not receive anything and wanted to check with everyone else.

@sakuraino: First of all, I am not your homie. Let’s show some respect on these boards. Trying to be helpful? Give me a break, and take your ■■■■■■■■ back to trollville.

@aquotidian: I am very sorry if I was being disrespectful. That was not my intent at all! Honestly, I did not know there was any confirmation. I even asked my other waitlisted friend if she got any confirmation (she did not). And the only reason I posted in the first place was to help the OP, but now I know I was misinformed. So for helping with misinformed information, I apologize. And for calling telessilla off, I apologize as well.

Haha don’t worry about it! Waitlists are confusing things overall.

I didn’t get the e-mail the first 4 times, so I called Stanford, and it was a server problem. It was listed that I didn’t accept a spot on the wait list. They fixed the problem and now I got the confirmation e-mail. Which is good.

Ahh… anyone else nervous? I mean I’m excited to go to Berkeley, but I don’t know what would happen if I got into Stanford.
