Also could we please make more gossip girl references, I found House of Cards to be fairly repetitive

@hannahdli96 as in UC Berkeley? ME!!!

Woo! I’m prehaas so my plan is to make tons of bank to overcompensate for my diminished self esteem as a stanford reject

@Hannahdli96 Can you confirm that if we don’t have an acceptance at this point we’re rejected?

Does anyone want make some more calls to be sure?

I’m gonna be attending UC Berkeley too for EECS! I’ve heard that Stanford CS and Berkeley EECS are comparable. Still it would be a dream come true if Stanford comes through!

@rsingh211 Some of us don’t want to study CS, though.

Okay to clarify: I was being cynical, I have no idea who is and who is not getting off the waitlist

And everyone has to study cs these days. It’s the prereq for life

Also how do I change my username

Basically, if you didn’t get accepted already that means that they are waiting to see if all of the people accepted off the waitlist confirm. If some people do not, then they will decide from us. So basically we are not getting off.

^^ We have no where near enough information to make a claim like that.

@bluesky29 You are right. We have no idea how many people they are taking. We know of two right now, and that could be all that’s out for all we know. I think we should call again just for fun.

It’s a rolling admissions process
Expect the unexpected

@FUnderwood

How do you know for sure?

Asked my college counsellor who used to work at Stanford

What else could it be then? Rolling as in they go down the list until the class is filled. That’s what seems to be going down

@magnificent6 speaks the truth
That’s exactly how the waiting list works

On an unrelated note have and of your peers or friends of friends been accepted off the waitlist yesterday or today?

In what order do they re-read apps?

In order of highest swag to lowest
