Stanford Waitlist update

I know a lot of waitlistees have already deduced this fact but for those that are biting their fingernails day and night... >773 accepted students would have to refuse their admission for the waitlist to even be considered so think about those possibilities which I will not calculate (probabilities are made negligible by the human factor). Just a few more weeks anyway :O hope and pray for the best guys! Personally my nerves are wired lol i check my email every other hour lol quite sad i know ... I just love Stan really i do.. Stan's the Man!! Its the only place i want to persue my tertiary education.

Wondering if i made up that number check out the link:

link not functioning

Does anyone know when we would find out if we got off the waitlist? Or does anyone have an estimate for how many people will come off this year? Thanks!

I've heard they are, but not from the university itself. So don't trust me completely.

Who did you hear that from?

another thread

though i can't verify it, since its memorial day

I received en email today. "Unable to offer you admission" :(

Same. never mind... obviously just not meant to be. Do you know if anyone actually got off the waitlist?

did it come in your bulk folder.... bc I haven't got any email unless it was in my bulk which I emptied w/out really checking, but I think that I would've seen Stanford.

nothing in bulk or inbox

It could be that they only emailed people abroad... I'm in london and it looks like the other person who got an email is in Barcelona. It said in the email that a letter would follow and had just been sent out. So I guess if you don't get one in the next few days then you are still on the list.

I havent received anything yet.. I am from the Dominican Republic so I guess they are supposed to send something by e-mail. When I called two weeks ago they said that they made decisions from early to mid june, so it is weird that some people already received a letter.

What about people in the U.S.? How do we no if they sent us the reject letter yet? Has anyone in the U.S. gotten it yet?

Nevermind, got rejected. Phooie

Don't mean to rub salt in the wound Nobody, but was it by email or snail mail?

haven't heard a thing...

Stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllll nothing.......

rejected via snailmail today. as was at least one friend of mine. alas

and i didn't check my mail today, its probably there

This is slightly depressing. I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going already, but it'd be nice to have a yes or no so I don't have to worry about it ever again, you know?
