Boy Scouts of America: 10 Years (Captain 2 years, Historian 1 year, Eagle scout)
National Honor Society: 2 Years
Tri M Music Honor Society: 2 Years
Piano: 10 Years (I have won 3 local awards)
Varsity swimming: 1 Year
All State band: 2 Years
BSU All Stars Band: 3 Years
CC Honor Band: 3 Years
Won 3 writing scholarship contests

Boys and Girls Club Volunteer: 200 Hours
Elementary/Peer Tutoring: 100 Hours

For rec letters, I picked 2 of the best teachers I have ever had, both of whom see me well as both a student and individual.
I feel my essays were all well thought out and it is evident I put a substantial amount of time into each one.

Cornell and Rice are matches. Yale and Stanford are reaches for everyone, but you definitely still have a shot at them.

You must know your EA decisions already–what are they? And isn’t Yale single choice early action?

I think you’ll get into Rice, and probably get into Cornell. Stanford and Yale are toss-ups.
