<p>SAT= 2170 composite
SAT II:</p>

<p>Chem: 640
Math: 710
US Hist: 720</p>

<p>GPA: 4.00 UW</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>Varsity track, soccer, x-country all four years
CSF Co-president
Key Club Vice President
Girl's Athletic Association Rep
Inkwell Literary Magazine Art Editor
Class secretary junior year</p>

<p>Chances? We're both applying EA, my stats are in another thread.</p>

<p>Honestly, I think you have a slightly stronger pull than he does, but his being a legacy might give him more strength than you. As it stands, you are both strong applicants that already have ties to the school which puts you above the rest of the pool by itself.</p>

<p>Thanks for your reply. Honoestly, I don't want it to be a competition. It'd be nice if we both got in, but I can't help but thinking her legacy status would push her over the edge while I'm stronger statistically. Plus we're the only two applying EA, so do you think they'd compare us?</p>

<p>Stanford only takes about 25% of legacies. Unless this is a very rich or connected one, I doubt your friend will make the cut.</p>

<p>Well, she keeps bragging about how her dad received a letter from Stanford saying that she is a legacy so therefore her chances double.</p>

<p>I think your 2170 is too low for Stanford....sorry. You might want to look into Cal Poly San Luis Obispo...or something like that. That is more within your range.</p>
