Stanford

I applied to Stanford regular decision and I have mailed all the required documents. The problem is that I failed to follow Stanford's suggestions for mailing. Stanford says to not fold papers or staple papers and to put them in a 9x12 letter and to use their address labels. I, however, folded the papers, stapled them and put them in a standard size envelope and wrote the address myself. Do you think this mistake affects my admissions decision because Stanford says they want you to do this only to minimize mistakes and to make the process more accurate. What do you guys think? Is this going to be held against me?

Thanks

Don't worry about it. They ask for it because it's easier for theem to sort everything out. The people who actually organize your materials aren't the admissions officers so it probably has no effect on your decision.

This has been asked many times.

Don't worry about it.

(Though I do find it funny that you violated all three of Stanford's guidelines. It should be fine, though.)
