So what do people think about think about Stanford raising all this cash for undergraduates!

Thousands of volunteers also gave their time during CUE, helping to connect alumni, parents, and friends with Stanford and each other. On behalf of the entire Stanford community, thanks to everyone who made CUE a success!

I have been hearing reports that Stanford's endowment is 14.8 BILLION!

Is this true! Stanford has already surpassed Princeton in endowments AND IT IS ABOUT TO PASS YALE on the same year!!

WOW, Stanford is bringing in the dough like it's nobody's business.

WOW that is really great!

OMG 14.8 billion?!?!? O_O

Stanford and Palo Alto...now both incredibly rich.

Now if only that translated into more generous financial aid...::sigh::

Wow thats really awesome news! DiamondT, where did you hear those reports about the size of Stanford's endowment?

NVM, I found an article on Google.

stanford's financial aid is generous enough...

Well more money is never a bad thing when it comes to a university's endowment.

yay! go stanford... nice campaign ALMOST as large as browns.

Haha, Brown's 1.4 billion dollar campaign is to improve its small endowment and help it compete with other schools.

In contrast, Stanford's billion dollar campaign was solely to improve undergraduate education above all things.

There's a big difference.

questions:
why not need blind for intl's ?
why no aid to intl transfers?
etc.
