<p>I am currently a sophomore in high school. I have taken one year of a language (German) so far and I just found out that my school will be removing German in two years, so I will be unable to take 3 years of German. My school still has Spanish as an option. Does the 3 year requirement apply only to 3 years of the same language or can I take 2 years of German and 1 year of Spanish?</p>

<p>It is recommended that you do one language for 3 years to have knowledge of the language. </p>
