Stapled pages in recommendations?

<p>I got my the recommendations my teacher wrote for me sealed in an envelope with her signature on the seal and plan to send all recommendations together.</p>

<p>While I was smoothing out the envelope, I felt a staple. Do adscoms "like" staples in their common app teacher evaluations? I know staples are a big no no for some schools, but they explicitly say that on their application, whereas the common app doesnt say anything.</p>

<p>University of Chicago doesn't appreciate staples, but that's because this year they're viewing everything on computers</p>

<p>I don't think it matters. they won't reject you becuase your teacher used a staple. it's one thing to wonder about it for yourself, but you can't try to change everything the rec writer did. it won't matter.</p>
