I can't wait for this movie to come out! Of coiurse, im not watching it in an hour, because i didn't wanna wait 5555 hours in line to get tickets....I don't mind waiting a week to watch it....

But this movie is gonna be great! I am such a Star Wars nerd...its kinda sad lol...:-)

its cool man. i was planning to wait in line because me and my friends thought why not? we have 5 days left of school and 5 days to be together so why not do something dat will "bond" us. but we gave up the idea and instead went on to decide to go to palm springs. haha. its ok to be a star wars nerd, everyone has a nerd in them.

Just saw it. I'm not a big star wars nerd, in fact I can't really remember I, IV,V, and VI, and haven't seen II (don't kill me), but I thought III was pretty cool. You guys should live at my town. The midnight shows didn't sell out even at the good theatre. They still had more than 100 tickets left.

Saw it last night. WOW! I am a Star Wars freak and I must admit, this one exceeded my expectations. It is not quite as good as Episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back, but it is arguably as good as Episodes 4 and 6...in somes ways better, in other ways not quite as good. It is certainly far and away better than episodes 1 and 2.

I recommend it highly. A word of caution...the movie is dark and sometimes disturbing. Not because of the concepts or images (which can be graphic at times) but rather, because as fans, we have grown attached to so many of the characters.

You mean Episode II, Attack of the Clones? It helps, but it is not necessary. I would certainly recommend watching Episodes I, Phantom Menace and Episode II, Attack of the Clones before watching Episode III.

Clone Wars are the little cartoons, and it does help fill you in on what went on between attack and revenge.

now about Revenge....GREAT movie...i hate anikan....grrrrr....makes you SOOOO angry...if only his little cruiser had not started for 2 minutes, all that death coulda been prevented.....i'm really disappointed :(....not with the movie...with the fact that there aren't going to be anymore, and if there are, they won't be done by lucas.

did anyone have that same sensation as i did?...the one where you know exactly what's going to happen, but you hope it doesn't and try to find some loophole!!!

George Lucas does not have to direct future episodes. The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were not directed by Lucas, and they were pretty good. And at this point, it is pretty clear that fan demand is going to make Episodes 7, 8 and 9 and even episdoe 3.5 a reality...but as you said, they will not be directed by Lucas.

I was angry with Anakin too. Mace was such an awesome Jedi. But had he not interfered, you wouldn't have had a need for future episodes! LOL

You hit it right on the head Alexandre. Someone is going to dump a couple billion with a "b" into Lucases lap and episodes 7 through 9 will be made. I just hope Jabba the Hut had offspring!

The stories are already out there. Episodes 7-9 will deal mainly with Luke's quest to get the Jedi council going again. There are a half dozen interesting Jedi roaming the galaxy. They will also deal with the rise of the New Republic and the Solo kids. Plus Luke's romance and a few other interesting tidbits.

Some have suggested that the likely story for Ep. 7, 8, and 9 will be the Timothy Zahn trilogy, "Heir to the Empire." I personally doubt any future episodes, but if there were, that's what I want them to be based on.

Anyway, I think that this movie just proves something to me: Naysayers are a waste of my time. I love Star Wars, and if you don't, oh well. Only Sith deal in absolutes. :p
