When I was 15 I formed a limited liability corporation for my e-commerce store (similar to Amazon, but it specializes in a certain niche).

I own the .com website, legal papers, everything to prove that I own this website and LLC.

Out of curiosity, will having started an online business have much of an impact at all on my college apps? It's not like I have any hard, physical trophies or rewards. Online businesses may not be as appealing as physical offline businesses, but it's the most I can do at my age.

My website has brought in a large amount of money. I have 1099s as proof for my income, but I don't want to feel like bragging on my app about how much money I've made. I would rather just show that I have started a business as opposed to how much $$ I've earned.

Certainly is a good thing to mention. Any indication of your success is helpful as well, so it may be good to include a rough value for your monthly income.

As for mentioning my income, I think I’ll talk about the month where I had my biggest breakthrough. Or I"ll just ask a counselor for tips/advice.

Don’t talk about it in your essay. DON’T DO IT haha. If you talk about an accomplishment like that, they’ll take it as you thinking you already know everything there is to know. Don’t write it in any of your essays.

However, DO write it in your resume section. Dedicate a portion to professionally stating you started your own successful company. Don’t include how much money you make, but maybe how many sales to give a rough idea of how successful it is? Colleges love people who take initiative, but they don’t like snobs. I’d suggest including it in your resume.
