I am currently a sophomore and I would like to get into business. I want to start a club but I do not know what to revolve it around. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!
Do you have a DECA chapter or FBLA chapter at your school? You could start a national business club chapter and then market it as an opportunity to compete at a national level. These clubs that are national always have a ton of members
Like @trufflemac24 said, FBLA! I’m currently in it and this club is a ton of fun but also lets you learn more about specific topics within business. It’s really cool and I would definitely recommend looking into starting an FBLA chapter.
DECA! HOSA! These are two competitive business competitions that are well known and acknowledged around the whole nation. Look into it! ^^ Also, the fact that you want to make a club, but don’t know what to revolve it around tells me that you are making a club simply for college applications. I can be completely wrong here and may have misunderstood you, but it is important to change your mind set about the club, so that the club can truly be great and have lots of participants/members.
Thank you for your reply! I have recently just figured out that I’m interested in studying business in university (this may change later on haha), but I actually have a few friends in those organizations and plan to get involved starting my junior year since I’m currently a sophomore. I admit it’s a bit late, but better late than never!
Thank you for your reply! I believe that one of my friends is in FBLA, but I’m not completely sure since I had not heard of the organization before.
Thank you for your reply! I’m actually genuinely interested in starting a club, but I’m always lacking in creativity for ideas. Do you mind telling me a little more about HOSA?
