Starting a club?

I want to start a club that I would like to call Students Against Drugs and Alcohol. I have a few ideas of what I would like to do with it and I really want to get it going this year since I'm a senior and I'll only have one year to try and make it last. Any advice on how I would go about doing this? I know it mostly depends on my school but I dont really even know where to start.

I started a club back in junior year when I was in high school.

The first thing you have to do is find a teacher who would be a supervisor for the club. Then you have to go to whoever is in charge of your school’s activity and ask for permission, you might also have to persuade them so be ready. I think you also need a certain number of students who will vouch to join and support this club as soon as it opens. If you can do all this then you have officially started a club.

However, be sure to have a schedule for the club and be very prepared for the rest of the year. New clubs can be hard to handle at times so a general schedule or guideline will help a lot.
