Starting from scratch your sophomore year... Possible?

Okay, so I've been taking a number of humanities classes throughout my first 2 semesters here, along with math 16A. However, recently a few things have come up that have made me completely rethink where I'm going in life. I've been considering going into the physical sciences, or perhaps Computer Science. In order to do this though, I'd have to more or less start from scratch next year, taking classes like math 1A-1B, Math 54-55, and a number of CS classes. ( not to mention an intro CS course during the summer to prepare me for the cal CS pre reqs, since I don't really have any experience in CS)

I wanted to ask you guys... Is this possible? I'm totally willing to stay an extra year at Cal if I have to, but I just don't know how realistic this is. I really don't know what my plan is if this isn't doable... Any advice would be appreciated.

i didn’t take a single science related class freshman year and am now double majoring econ and mcb and am on track
yes it’s possible

since you don’t need any math to take cs classes… can be done

it’s possible, but do you have the math skills to survive it?

What made you rethink and want to go into CS?

DO NOT do CS. You’ll be out of a job by the age of 30.

That’s not true at all
