Starting From Scratch

Hey everyone! :)

Just took the SAT today (I'm a jnior btw), and now am about to start prepping for ACT. For the honors program that I want to get into, you have to have a 33. It sounds like that's a pretty big accomplishment.. :

I kinda waited til the last minute to try to study for SAT so I'm going to try to be better about things this time. What books do you all reccomend? How is it scored? Is it very different from the SAT? I heard there's a science section..? Anything would be appreciated!

Thanks, and sorry for all the questions!!

Best ACT Prep Books: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/227403-list-best-act-prep-books.html

Thanks! Would it be ok to use some old SAT books too? Or are they too different?

I think there are a lot of similar material between sat and act but its best to just focus on ACT prep books because they have the proper format and similar questions as the real ACT
