(best not to go this route)

I want to major in psychology or idk not sure. But im going to be premed. Any advice on schools would be great :)

EDIT: Oh yeah im a Texas resident so anywhere in texas is fine! out of state is cool too though I doubt I can get anywhere besides texas with my grades haha

okay, so i’m stuck here. i like both schools but i don’t know which one would be better. i was thinking of doing something in the medical feild like getting a BSN or doing the pre-med program but if i change my mind i’m going to major in accounting. i just want to go to a school where i can get a good college experience and have fun

Nathanator, I’d put UTSA a bit on the reachy side. What are you interested in studying? What part of Texas interests you? There are a lot of college options for you in Texas.

well idc where in texas and I want to study psych and be pre med.

and utsa a reach? they pretty much except anyone…and tech and utsa have assured admission based on rank and sat scores. I make the cut for assured admission. I just need to know what else is out there

university of houston perhaps, but you might also want to reconsider community college for a year or two and then transfer, you could get into a much better school. For example austin community college for 2 years then transfer to UT

Oh wow, yeah your GPA is not good at all. Do you have any ideal what you would like to attend school for? Also are you in a financial situation or would be able to afford paying 25,000+?

I see, your going to do pre-med. Well you can look at Wayne State University ( though right in downtown Detroit, not good), their medical school is more popular. I can suggest more, though first I would need to know your financial situation.

my parents income is around 80k a year but they arnt helping me pay for college at all haha i’m on my own

and I really don’t see why community college is a option if some of the schools offer assured admission based on my rank and sat. and my scores make the cut…
