Momreads, have you bought a book on Amazon and sold it to the Supestore? Is that what you’re saying?

Also, do you have to buy all your textbooks from the Supestore, or can you pick and choose?

Do you have to buy the whole group for each class, or just ones you don’t have?

Son took Bio AP and is taking Bio 114 next year. He has Campbell Biology, which I think is listed for his class, but may not have the other books listed. Therefore, he wouldn’t need to buy the textbook, but will need the other books.

Are you able to find out what edition the class uses? Even though son has Campbell Biology, his class may be using the latest edition, so we don’t want to assume we have the right book and find out the first day of class we didn’t buy a book he needed.

You can pick and choose what you want to buy at the Supe store when you order online. Sometimes a kid already has a book or two from a friend and doesn’t need to order everything.

Go to mybama and put in his bio class and section and see what book/edition comes up.

momreads, I did not realize that the Supestore is only buying back books that were bought from them. I know that such wasn’t their policy first semester, but that does explain a lot. Still, when I can buy a book elsewhere for less than I would lose upon selling the book back to the Supestore I had used it, it’s an easy decision.

Some instructors allow previous editions if the content of the book hasn’t changed very much between editions and some do recommend the international editions (which are 100% legal despite what may be printed on the books themselves).
