hello,

I have been in AP Calc AB(this class is very slow, we're just about to do the integration)

Now I am thinking about taking BC test (first of all, i think i can do. second BC would have AB sub-score. third, i wanna challege myself)

but do you think it's too late to do this? (be really really realistic, please)
In Lasrson/Hostetler/Edwards' "Calculus of a single variable 7th Ed.", my class has only covered upto Chapter 3 (only including derivative, 2nd/3rd derivative test, Rolles', MVT, concavity, newton's and that's it)
there are a bunch of chapters to go...

how should i do this?? if i follow my class' speed, i would (heard from a teacher) finish AB sections in about 7 weeks or more and i would have only 9 weeks to finish all BC sections (which is about additional 4 chapters)

or I can go really independently by speeding up and finishing AB in less and have more time for BC. but i like my teacher and i am not sure if i can do so well on doing myself-thing. (i mean i would be able do it. and save at least 2-3 weeks i think) the class(in a big public HS) spends alot of time going over the homeworks , little quizes, tests which i get almost 100%.

any suggestions please.. thanks
