Starting your own Fundraising Campaign

<p>I want to start my own fundraiser/campaign to help preserve the native american languages of North America. I understand that this would be a huge undertaking, i just dont know how or where to get started. I am not native american myself, but i have a passion for the culture, and many of their languages are endagered. What would the steps be to create this? How do i make it 'official'? And how would i get the word out? Thanks! :)</p>

<p>You need to be in contact with the local tribes. If you don't speak the language yourself, get someone else to be the leader of the fundraising campaign that is a native/does speak the language. Get attention from your local newspapers, then (if your campaign's relatively successful) you will probably get regional attention. Good luck.</p>
