I've started my own website because I love writing about the local sports teams and fantasy football. I was just wondering if even though it isn't my own domain (.webs.com) would I be able to talk about it as an EC? I will be blogging extensively on it and it would show my passion for sports writing.

Yes, I don’t see why not. Providing a link to it would also show the admissions committee more of your writing and personality :)

Yes, as long as you’re interested and invested in it, it can certainly count.

Well, I’m considering my blog an EC. Some days I spend more time on it than on my math homework. If it’s something you can commit to for a year or more, I would include it.

it’s good to invent.

i dont know but i dont think the .webs makes a difference. it’s the same as making your own website but you dont want to have to pay monthly/ yearly fees. as long as you can keep it up and stuff i think it’s ok
