As far as I know Calculus isn’t too relevant to biology, but I would still recommend Calculus for a bio major because there’s a stigma regarding STEM majors taking Stat over Calc at my school.

Stats is basically not math. There is no algebra or math problems that are difficult to solve, you just have to be able to understand concepts, and memorize a few things.
I’m not sure how relevant stats is to biology, but it is a very useful class. It has applications in social sciences, econ, business, and many research based classes in college. Taking it in high school definitely gave me a good foundation going forward
