State affect on admission

Do you have a source for this? The link above says that the numbers are the ‘home state’ - I would consider OK my home state, not here.
Also, I don’t think that was at all a silly question.

It is where you live now :stuck_out_tongue:
As a fact, a chinese immigrant living in the states is not considered as an international candidate.

CORRECTED:

I am an American applicant, and this, in effect, allows me to list my location as America

Further corrected:

I am excruciatingly annoying, and this, in effect, allows me to list my location as “where I make people want to die.”

i called airstrip one firstttttttt! >=[

Honestly pigs, please stop posting on this thread and detracting from its original meaning. We can all take a little humor/sarcasm, but you are just plain rude, and you have no reason to be. I should say God forbid Yale accepts you… who would want someone so rude on campus? However, I am sure you probably can be a nice kid at times. So, please lay off it.

there are so many of us NYCers haha

how rude >=[

i got so distracted by crap in this thread that i coudn’t even respond to the question. OOPs.

pigs is just annoying cus he wasn’t accepted to yale.

true dat homeslice

R124687- Michigan actually have a good education system, which is surprising with all of the other problems Michigan has. When looking at the table I am actually very surprised that Ohio keeps up to Michigan and surpasses the number in some years. There are not a lot of prep schools in Michigan, and there are a good deal of private schools, but they are not particularly great. Michigan’s public schooling is very good in most areas of the state, except the major cities-Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, etc. In the suburbs of these metropolitan areas and the rest of the state has great schools. I never thought Ohio really matched Michigan, so their number is surprising. Indiana’s is not surprising because thier schools are not the best, like you said. Illinois has almost double the amount from Ohio or Michgian, but that isn’t surprising since their are significantly more prep schools there.
