<p>I received a letter in the mail today notifying me that I won the State AP Scholar award for Florida. For anyone interested, I took 24 exams and scored 21 fives, 2 fours, and a three. Good luck to everyone in contention for this award.</p>
<p>Our son received the State AP in Alabama … he only took 15 tests … his average was 4.6 … your 4.833 is awesome!</p>
<p>Congratulations to your son! 15 is still a lot, so there’s no reason to say he “only” took that many. :P</p>
<p>Fair enough !! … It would be intersting to see the stats from all of the AP State Award winners. i.e. the number of AP tests taken and the average score for the winners. I don’t think this data is posted anywhere …</p>

<p>Nope. I have a wonderful social life. I just happen to have a real love for learning and a really strong sense of time management. Also, for most of the exams I took over my four years of high school, I absorbed the material quite well throughout the school year, so I had to do little studying for the AP exams themselves.</p>
