<p>Are there any statistics available on the number of AP courses taken by State AP Scholars to qualify for the award?</p>

<p>I asked CollegeBoard about California yesterday. I’ll post if/when they get back to me.</p>

<p>If you’re a California man it’s 25 exams with a 4.9 average. If you’re a California woman it’s 18 exams with a 4.9 average.</p>

<p>Is there a place where we can find out thins information for other states as well ?
Is there a College Board number that we can call and find out ?</p>

<p>I emailed them at the AP help address. They got back to me pretty quickly.</p>

<p>I think I googled it a couple of years ago (State AP Scholar + your state) and found a news story that had a short article (it was the local paper of one of the kids who got it). It was a crazy number, that’s all I remember!</p>
