State Assessments

<p>I was just wondering. Do colleges look at state assessments as an important factor in admission? Are state assessments as important as the SAT, ACT, or the extracurricular activities?</p>

<p>Well in some ways they are important. Sometimes colleges look at your school's overall performance on State assessments. They want to check for grade inflation/deflation. In some ways it can hurt you and in other ways it can help you.</p>
