State Colleges in the center of America

I was wondering what people thought were the best state colleges in the center of America. I define the center as the middle of Kansas. I am wondering about the colleges in Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri. I know what colleges are in those states. I was just wondering what the best public schools in that area are.

Thanks

UColorado
UIowa
UKansas
UMissouri (except for Communications)
Colorado State
UNebraska
Iowa State
UOklahoma
Kansas State
Oklahoma State

There isn't much difference, overall. Some are better or worse in particular fields.

Out of that list:

Iowa > Colorado > All the rest

Iowa>Colorado>Kansas>Iowa State/Nebraska/Oklahoma>Missouri>Oklahoma State/Kansas State

no college is better than any other, it all depends on the program usually.

For example, the post above suggests Oklahoma to be "moderate" however in my case it would be #1 on the list because of the meteorology program there.

Ok then for spacific programs how about psychology, pre-med, and enigeering?

Thanks for the thoughts and please keep them coming.

If I were you I would only choose between Iowa, Colorado, and Kansas.
